David Spiegelman
A fan of live music, adventurous food, and precarious travel, David believes there’s no distance too far or hour too late for a new life experience. Through his camera lens or with friends over a bottle of something aged in a barrel, David is a storyteller at heart.
David spent 5 years creating and running the digital marketing arm of Wagstaff, the leading PR/Marketing agency for hospitality and travel in North America. He oversaw all digital services, including social media, paid media, content creation, and brand positioning for the agency, and worked with clients such as South Australia Tourism, Hong Kong Airlines, Asahi Beer, Proper Hotels, Riedel Glassware, Speck Products, Marriott Hotels, Callebaut Chocolate, and three Michelin starred restaurants Manresa and Saison.
Prior to joining Wagstaff, he spent 10 years creating content and telling stories across all media platforms. David has overseen forward-thinking social media campaigns for the entertainment industry and been involved in the maturation of the “Social Influencer” through his work with YouTube celebrities and digital native brands. He has spearheaded the development and production of several digital projects and social media campaigns for portals including Food Network, Yahoo, Universal, Discovery Digital, Fullscreen, and YouTube.
Drawing from that knowledge and experience, David not only creates groundbreaking strategies to engage consumers, but also explores creative new ways to tell the story and culture of a brand through its digital ecosystem.
